We have hardly spoken about the European Union so far. We did mention the extremely blacked out pages that were given to the European parliament in a response to the Pfizer Contract question (1). We also paid some attention to critique by the Irish MEP Clare Daly aimed at ‘Frau’ von der Leyen (2) in regard to the EU’s position towards Israel and the Gaza Genocide.

Seen within the framework of this website the European Union as a whole shows quite some Deep State characteristics: it is highly undemocratic. Plans of the elites are considered more important than the well-being of the citizens. Double standards when it comes to war and peace: Ukraine is helped endlessly whereas Israel retains the EU’s support despite an obvious genocide (3). Deep State projects like the Digital ID, CBDC (4) and an obsession with vaccinations and an alleged ‘climate crisis’ are also part of this, just like the travestite-gender promotion (5).

That’s why I think the European Union is scoring quite high on the ‘Deep State Index’. This article focuses on yet another way that the European Union is interfering in the life of European citizens, namely by confiscating private and agricultural property in order to ‘save the climate and bio-diversity‘.

Below you can listen to a Croatian Member of Parliament, the former judge, Mislav Kolakušić (6), who shares his perspective on the ‘Nature Restoration Law‘ that was passed in February 2024 (7,8).

In his speech he talks about the confiscation of property and the confiscation of agricultural land. He reminds the European parliament of the times of Communism where these laws were simply called ‘Confiscation Laws’, but now they get lofty names like ‘The Nature Restoration Law‘

Laura Aboli also mentioned this law in one of her posts (9), and I will gladly quote her on this theme, and you can check the numbers yourself at (8):

“The European Parliament has dealt another blow to European rural areas and agriculture by passing the highly controversial ‘nature restoration law’ – despite the ongoing farmers’ protests. The plan to “restore” at least 30% of European habitats in “poor condition” by 2030, 60% by 2040, and 90% by 2050” is just a pretext to get rid of European farmers once and for all, break our economies and take further control over our lives under the “green” pretext.

Considering the pressure European farmers are already under, this law might very well be the straw that breaks the camels back. The EU needs to be abolished once and for all!” (9)
