A while ago we made a short introduction to the huge investment company Blackrock on this website (1). We talked a bit about the company’s CEO, Larry Fink (2) and his ideas on the benefits of having shrinking populations. This post introduces ‘Aladdin‘, which is a highly advanced A.I. Computer System that seems to play a big role in the enormous success of the Blackrock company.

This program would control 21 TRILLION of our global economy, even more than the 20 Trillion GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the US Economy. “Aladdin has grown into a system that is directly or indirectly responsible for more than four times the value of all the money in the world” (3,4)

A REFLECTION OR TWO
In the video fragment above you can hear that “Every major bank, company and invest fund has become to rely on Aladdin“. It would have access to nearly everything that is bought and sold in the world. It seems as if Blackrock managed to grow as huge as it is with the assistance of this tool, which seems to put humans in its shadow.

This is quite overwhelming and rather concerning, I would say. What are your ideas? How can this beast be stopped? Also see (5,6).
