The Dengue Fever Rise in Brazil and the QDenga Vaccine from Takeda

The reason for starting writing about mosquitoes is the record breaking amount of Dengue fever cases in Brazil (1-3). In order to prepare this particular article I first distinguished between two categories of scientific approaches that are used to combat the Aedes Aegypti mosquito that transmits the virus. You have the non-GMO category (4) and the GMO category (5).

When it comes to the GMO category we have seen that the British Oxitec performed massive experiments with mosquitoes which at first seemed to reduce the number of mosquitoes, but according to some researchers it eventually led to the creation of a stronger and more resilient variant that could profit from DNA from Mexico, Cuba and the local Brazilian Aedes Aegypti variant.

In a critical report by Vigilant News (6) we can read about a possible link between these Oxitec GMO-mosquito experiments and the extreme rise of Dengue cases in 2024 and how this might be quite profitable for a Japanese pharmaceutical company called Takeda (7). Both Oxitec and Takeda received huge sums of money from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (8)

Let’s first listen to a short video on the Dengue crisis in Brazil:

On the Dengue Crisis in Brazil (9)

In an article from the Guardian from February 2024 we can read the following on the vaccination campaign of the Takeda vaccine called QDenga:

Brazil has bought 5.2m doses of the dengue vaccine Qdenga, developed by Japanese drugmaker Takeda, with another 1.32m doses provided at no cost to the government, a ministry statement said.” (10)

SOME REFLECTIONS
Let’s just hope that the situation is not as twisted as the Vigilant News (6) report sketches it. It would be quite malevolent if Gates first sponsors experiments that lead to more resistant mosquitoes and then goes on to cash in to the vaccine (14). Gates did invest $55 million in Dengue research, he invested at least $8 million dollars in Oxitec’s research and he funded the Japanese pharmaceutical company Takeda for at least $38 million, although this was related to the development of a polio vaccine (7,12).

When it comes to the official causes of this outbreak, you only hear about El Niño and Climate Change. I would say that the GMO-Experiments would also be a factor that should definitely be considered. If I am not mistaken, I remember that Oxitec added a fluorescent gene to their experimental mosquito in order to track it. It would then be rather easy to determine if the rise in dengue is due to an increase of GMO-mosquitoes: you only need to catch them and see if they hold that light-emitting gene.

5,1 Million registered cases at the end of May 2024 (13)

(14) I took a look at the major stockholders of the Takeda company and couldn’t detect anything related to the Bill & Linda Gates Foundation (15), but I am also completely unknowing about how he invests his money. This most likely wouldn’t go though his foundation. I also noticed talk about diversity on their website.
