You might remember the secret recordings of a conversation between a journalist and some members of Planned Parenthood (1). In that talk the employees of Planned Parenthood admitted that they sold different parts of aborted babies. In the excerpt below you can hear a woman asking a clinic if they would perform an abortion on a baby that is already 34 weeks old. I was quite shocked to hear the response.

EUROPEAN PERSPECTIVE
I am a European and I sometimes have a hard time understanding the abortion discussions in the US. It seems that you either need to be completely pro-abortion or completely against it. When you are pro-abortion in the Netherlands you allow for abortion in the first trimester of the pregnancy. Being pro-abortion in the US seems to imply that you agree with aborting (or more aptly killing) a baby in the third trimester, even when it is full-grown.

Luckily these third semester abortions would be quite rare and they were banned in 44 states, based on a 2022 article (3).
