While driving to my work I listened to the news on the radio and I heard an item on Europe supposedly warming twice as fast as the rest of the world (1). I shook my head as I remembered the posts with the same theme, but then for many other countries or continents on the world. This article presents a few example of this odd narrative that all kinds of places would be warming up faster than the rest of the world. This obviously cannot be true.

WARMING FASTER THAN THE REST OF THE WORLD
As you can see in the above image (2), there are many countries miraculously warming faster than the rest of the world, like Britain, China, Australia, Antarctica, Canada, Spain, Sweden, Russia, South Africa, Alaska, Europe and Finland.

Here are a few other examples of this story line that reminds me of the moment that many US channels started to simultaneously use the word ‘weird’ to attack the Trump Team (3).
