Sometimes you hear people claim that Iran doesn’t have the right to interfere with ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz because parts of the Strait of Hormuz would be part of International waters. This obiviously is not the case as Professor Foad Izadi explains (1), which is also backed by a LLM-analysis (2).
