Robert Kennedy jr. is turning into a frequent guest within this ‘Gondolath theater’. We have heard him speak about the dubious philanthropy of Bill Gates (1) and how he was critical about the way money for Ukraine ended up in the US Weapon Industry and Blackrock (2). In the video below (less than an minute long), you can hear him describe the dangers of a Central Back Digital Currency (CBDC).
He says that he is against a CBDC. He thinks that they will become an instrument of power and control, and that ultimately they will be used as an excuse to abolish cash currencies.
He refers to the use of the social credit score system in China, how citizens can be punished for not doing what the government thinks is the right thing. The system can be programmed to only allow people to buy groceries within a half mile radius of your home. You won’t be allowed to use your card for buying fuel or a train- or plane ticket.
We have seen how the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has used the possibility to simply ‘debank’ people by simply ordering the banks to block someone’s bank account (3).
He ends by saying: “And if the government has those kind of powers over us we are all in a lot of deep trouble“
TRUMP BANS ANYTHING RELATED TO CBDC
In an executive order on January 23, 2025, President Donald Trump banned CBDC’s. CBDC is defined as “a form of digital money or monetary value, denominated in the national unit of account, that is a direct liability of the central bank.” (5).
This is yet another example of how the Trump administration battles the powers of Deep State financial institutes like the central banks. Europe, once again, is lagging behind and is still promoting this surveillance system that gives way too much power to privatized banks who pretend to be democratically controlled.
Instead the Trump Administration is investing and exploring the use of cryptocurrencies (5,6)
