Ever since I opened up to the existence of chemtrails possibly containing metal particles like aluminum, strontium, barium or thorium (1) I cannot watch the skies the way I used to. I also feel the urge to get more information on this, but it is a rather complicated terrain to explore.

There are all kinds of aspects. We have spoken about the practice of cloud seeding, which is hardly debated, and seems to be accepted as fact (2,3). Then there is the discussion on what scientists call ‘contrails’ and its effect on global warming. We have heard Ulrich Schumann describe how his team was working with methods to alter the flight plans of planes in order to let them make less contrails, for these contrails would add to global warming, by trapping the heat, I suppose (4).

Then there are the theories about reflecting the sunlight by adding metal particles like aluminum and barium to the upper layers of the atmosphere (5). Other theories talk about transforming the wave lengths of ‘warmer’ infrared radiation into ‘cooler’ infrared (1), also by using metaloxides like aluminum and thorium.

In the documentary ‘The Dimming‘ (6) I got introduced to Allan Buckmann, a meteorologist and biologist (7), who gave a definition of what NASA calls ‘persistent contrails‘ (8). In the excerpt below you can hear him give that definition. He also gives a definition of a contrail, which he says is the result of the heat of the jet exhaust that causes ice crystals to melt, but these ice crystals immediately refreeze, leaving only a very short contrail of a few airplanes’ length of trail.

So, Allan Buckmann says that there is no such thing as a persistent contrail, since contrails by definition are very short. He says that NASA is misinforming the public by talking about contrails, whereas they are trails that are caused by something else coming out of the jets.

ONLY MILITARY PLANES
In an ‘Activist Post’ article from 2012 (7) Buckmann describes how he used a telescope and binoculars to identify the planes that were causing these longer trails. He did not identify any commercial aircraft, and thus concluded that it must have been military planes or military contractors. Would this still be the case in 2024?
