A while ago I started with the exploration of the role of the ancient people of Khazaria in current day affairs. In the first article (1) in this series we learned that a group moved from Sumeria all the way north to the Caucasus and current day Ukraine. They would have taken with them a number of rather atrocious rituals, like child sacrifice and the worship of Baal/Moloch.
Due to pressure from a Russian king – who abhorred those practices – they were forced to pick a regular religion. They opted for the Jewish fate, but only for the appearance. They would have made a variant that also incorporated many of their rather evil rituals.
In this next article we learn that after a number of centuries the Russian king ‘Sviatoslav The Brave’ wanted to make an end to those practices, but the Khazarian leader and nobility managed to escape before the onslaught happened. They would have fled to many countries in Middle and Western Europe, leaving their nobility and their riches behind along the way.
In order not to solely rely on the work of Janet Ossebaard (2) I found another source that backs the spread of the Ashkenazi Jews to Europe:
“For the Jews this was a disaster: no longer was there a Jewish nation that they could call home — and be protected by — until the establishment of Israel almost a millennia later in 1948. Many fled to different lands: to Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, the Kievan Rus’, the Caucasus, Egypt, Bulgaria, Spain, and the Byzantine Empire. As a matter of fact, the Schechter Letter, a manuscript that includes a considerable amount of useful and invaluable information about the Khazars, was written by an unknown author in the Byzantine capital, Constantinople, a.k.a modern-day Istanbul.” (3)
