On July 15, 2024, a few days after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump (1), James David Vance was presented as the vice presidential running mate of Trump (2). During the Republican Nomination Convention Tucker Carlson also gave a speech on JD Vance’s nomination (3).

In this part Carlson said: “Every bad person I’ve ever met in a lifetime in Washington was aligned against JD Vance…. He’s like one of the only members of the Senate with a happy marriage.”

In the original tweet from ‘Vigilant Fox‘ (3) we can read that
Carlson also observed that the power-hungry “elite” despise Vance, not for personal reasons, but because they find him “harder to manipulate and slightly less enthusiastic about killing people.”

During a recent interview with Joe Rogan (4), Carlson made references to the way the intelligence agencies would have a strong hold on many people in Congress (4,5). Let’s just hope the happy marriage of Vance makes him harder to manipulate.
