In July 2024 a number of videos on mosquitoes that were being released in Florida in Texas were going viral (1,2). There is talk about GMO Mosquitos, but there is also talk about Mosquitoes who are purposefully being infected with a bacteria called Wolbachia. Sometimes these two methods are mixed in the reporting (3). In order to get a better understanding of these two methods I will write two articles on them. This one is about the NON-GMO Mosquitos variant.

In the video below you can hear Scott O’Neill (4), who is the founder/director of the World Mosquito Program (5). He says that in the world’s largest mosquito factory they are making 30 million mosquitoes a week. They infect mosquitoes with the Wolbachia bacteria which stops the ability of the mosquitoes to transmit Dengue.

THE WORLD MOSQUITO PROGRAM
On the website of the World Mosquito Program (6) you can read that “The World Mosquito Program (WMP) is a not-for-profit group of companies owned by Monash University that works to protect the global community from mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, Zika, yellow fever and chikungunya.”

The Monash University is based in Melbourne, Australia (7). When you take a look at their website you see they are sympathetic towards the gender confusion agenda and the climate change narrative.

The World Mosquito Program is operating in 14 countries (8), amongst them El Salvador (9).

WOLBACHIA BACTERIA BOOSTING THE MOSQUITO’s IMMUNE SYSTEM
But what about this Wolbachia bacteria? On the website of the World Mosquito Program (6) there are many Frequently Asked Questions about this method. How does it work?

“It works by introducing the naturally occurring bacteria Wolbachia into Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. It does not involve genetic modification of the mosquitoes or Wolbachia. Wolbachia mosquitoes have a reduced ability to transmit viruses to people, decreasing the risk of dengue, Zika, chikungunya and yellow fever outbreaks.” (6)

“Wolbachia boosts the natural immune system of the mosquito to make it harder for the mosquito to support the virus infection. If the mosquito can’t get infected, then it can’t transmit these viruses to people. It also competes against viruses for key molecules like cholesterol. Both the viruses and Wolbachia need cholesterol to survive inside the mosquito.

When Wolbachia is present, it consumes these molecules and makes it harder for the viruses to grow. If it’s harder for the viruses to grow, then it’s harder for them to be transmitted.”

CONNECTION WITH THE BILL AND MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION
In the Frequently Asked Questions page there is a question on their funding by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (11). I tried some searches on the Gates Foundation’s website but I couldn’t easily find anything. Thanks to an article on Vigilant News (12) I managed to find a page that talks about a funding (13) by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Wellcome Trust (14,15) of 185 million Australian dollars in the period from 2010-2019 (with a 50 million Australian dollar donation in 2019).

This amounts to some 124 million US dollars in 2024. That’s quite a lot of money. I also was unable to determine which Foundation or Fund paid what part of that donation. Perhaps someone else can dig into this donation?

During our research into the world of the globalist agenda we have encountered Bill Gates a couple of times. You might want to read about his land-buying practices (16) and the way he uses his foundation to make a lot of money (17).

SOME REFLECTIONS
We are being told that these Wolbachia-mosquitoes have nearly eradicated Dengue in the Northern parts of Australia (18). That sounds great. The Wolbachia method is in no way about genetically modified mosquitoes. One may wonder if it is a good thing to release millions of mosquitoes with this bacteria every week into the environment. Whenever the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is involved we also need to be vigilant.

For now it seems important to know the difference between this non-gmo and the gmo-variants of Mosquitoes to combat tropical diseases.

It has maintained this lifestyle for tens of thousands of years. Wolbachia cannot survive outside of insect cells because it does not have the necessary machinery to replicate itself without help from the insect host. (12) Dengue Fever Surges by 400% in Brazil After Bill Gates-Backed GMO Mosquitos Released – The article states: “Notably, the World Mosquito Program received a $50 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.” This seems to be incorrect. First of all it didn’t specify that it was about Australian dollars, which reduces the amount to about $33 million US Dollars. It also didn’t mention the contribution of the Wellcome Trust. They should be more careful in their reporting, even though it sounds more spectular.
