During the first Trump Administration the United States withdrew from the World Health Organization (1). As soon as Joe Biden (2) took office he joined the World Health Organization (WHO) again. In May 2024 the first attempt failed (9), but apparently there is some other kind of treaty being pushed on the United States as we can hear Trump saying: “And now Biden is pushing to bypass the United States Senate to enter a pandemic treaty that would surrender American sovereignty to the World Health Organization, again controlled by China. The draft treaty would require the United States to send vast quantities of medical supplies to other countries in the event of another pandemic, and it would push aggressive censorship of free speech on issues of public health, just like they censored the truth about the Wuhan lab, which I said that’s where it came from.

He goes on to say that he will terminate the treaty immediately under his administration. “I would not allow public health to be used as a pretext to advance the march of global government. That’s what they’re doing.“

PLANS FOR A NEW COALITION OF NATIONS ON HEALTH
Trump vows not only to withdraw from the World Health Organization but he will even try to create an alternative: “Then I will work to forge a new coalition of nations that are strongly committed to protecting health while also upholding sovereignty and freedom.“. In May 2025 we could see this plan starting to materialize (11).

The United States was paying the World Health Organization almost $500 million a year.
