Putin on the Funding of Extremists by Western Nations (speech UN 2015)

During these times when another wave of foreign extremists are ravaging Syria (1) it can be wise to listen to the analysis of Vladimir Putin during a UN address in 2015. As always, Putin, doesn’t mince his words and calls out the western world for arming extremely cruel terrorists to achieve their goals of regime change in countries that are critical towards either Israel or the globalist agenda.

In an earlier article we could hear Hillary Clinton admit that the United States started this mode of toppling regimes by creating the Mujahedeen that turned into the Taliban in Afghanistan (2).

We have seen this ruthless agenda by the ‘civilized’ world when they ruined Libya (3) and when they fully supported the so-called ‘moderate’ rebels in Syria in an attempt to overthrow Israel’s enemy Bashar al-Assad. The ‘weapons of mass destruction‘ lies (4) that have led to the killing of at least a million people in Iraq are another example that shows the evil nature of the West’s interventions in Northern Africa and the Middle East.

In the excerpt below Putin defends their decision to support the national army of Syria in their fight against these extremist groups. The Legacy Media on the other hand have been playing their regular dirty game by portraying both Putin and Assad as evil dictators, thereby obscuring the real culprits.

This speech was made in 2015. It seems now another attempt is made to overthrow the government of Syria, in order to cut the lines between Iran and Lebanon. Perhaps now, when more people see through the legacy media’s lies, they can also see the true nature of all these conflicts in the Middle East (5) and recognize the hand of the globalists in this horrific agenda.

PUTIN’S WORDS AT THE UN IN 2015
What follows is a transcript from his speech at the United States from 2015:

DESTRUCTION OF STATES
It is enough to look at the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, as the previous speaker spoke about. Of course, political and social problems in this region had been brewing for a long time, and people there, of course, wanted changes. But what happened in reality?

Aggressive external interference led to the fact that instead of reforms, state institutions and the very way of life were simply unceremoniously destroyed. Instead of the triumph of democracy and progress – violence, poverty, social catastrophe [followed]. And human rights, including the right to life, are not valued at all. I really want to ask those who created this situation.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
Do you at least now understand what you have done, but I am afraid this question will hang in the air. Because they have not abandoned the policy, which is based on self-confidence, conviction in their own exclusivity and impunity. It is already obvious that the power vacuum that has arisen in a number of countries in the Middle East and North Africa has led to the formation of zones of anarchy, which immediately began to fill with extremists and terrorists.

Islamic State (7)

ISLAMIC STATE AND LIBYA
Tens of thousands of militants are already fighting under the banner of the so-called “Islamic State”, including former Iraqi servicemen who were thrown out onto the streets as a result of the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Libya, whose statehood was destroyed as a result of a gross violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1973, is also a record-breaker (3).

And now the ranks of the radicals are being replenished by members of the so-called “moderate” Syrian opposition, supported by the West. They are first armed, trained, and then they go over to the side of the so-called “Islamic State”. And the “Islamic State” itself did not arise out of nowhere. It was also initially nurtured as a weapon against undesirable secular regimes.

Having created a foothold in Syria and Iraq, the “Islamic State” is actively expanding its expansion to other regions, aiming for dominance in the Islamic world and beyond. But these plans are clearly not limited to them. The situation is more than dangerous.

THE WEST TURNS A BLIND EYE
In such a situation, it is hypocritical and irresponsible to make loud declarations about the threat of international terrorism and at the same time turn a blind eye to the channels of financing and supporting terrorists, including through drug trafficking, illegal trade in oil, weapons, or to try to manipulate extremist groups, put them to work to achieve their own political goals, in the hope of somehow dealing with them later, or, simply put, liquidating them.

The West ignoring their role in the creation of extremist groups (8)

To those who really do this and think this way, I would like to say. Dear sirs, you are dealing, of course, with very cruel people, but not at all with stupid or primitive ones. They are not more stupid than you, and it is still unknown who is using whom for their own purposes. And the latest data on the transfer of weapons from this very moderate opposition to terrorists is the best confirmation of this.

RUSSIA DOESN’T FLIRT WITH TERRORISTS
We consider any attempts to flirt with terrorists, and especially to arm them, not just short-sighted, but fire-hazardous. As a result, the global terrorist threat may increase critically and cover new regions of the planet. Moreover, militants from many countries, including European ones, are being tested in the camps of the Islamic State.

Unfortunately, I must say this frankly, dear colleagues, and Russia is no exception. We cannot allow these thugs, who have already smelled blood, to return home and continue their dirty work there. We do not want this, because no one wants this, right? Russia has always firmly and consistently opposed terrorism in all its forms.

Presidents Bashar al-Assad and Vladimir Putin fighting
western-sponsored extremism in Syria (9)

Today, we provide military and technical assistance to Iraq, Syria, and other countries in the region that are fighting terrorist groups. We believe that refusing to cooperate with the Syrian authorities, with the government army, with those who courageously fight terror face to face is a huge mistake. We must finally admit that, apart from the government troops of President Assad, as well as the Kurdish militia in Syria, no one is really fighting the Islamic State and other terrorist organizations. We know all the problems of the region, all the contradictions, but we still need to proc
