The United States always are fast in pointing their fingers at others, but sometimes it can be good to give them a reality check. This article presents such a reality check, given by a Chinese diplomat (1). It describes the United States as the number one warmonger in the world since World War II. In its 240+ years of existence it would only have had 16 years of non-war. The US has accounted for around 80% of all post-WW II conflicts.

It is the number one violator of sovereignty and interferer in internal affairs of other countries. Since WW II the US has sought to overthrow more than 50 governments. It grossly interfered in elections in around 30 countries and attempted assassination of over 50 foreign leaders. The US-led NATO is responsible for wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria (2) that killed more than 900,000 people and created 37 million refugees.

He ends this piece by saying that as long as the hegemony of the US still exists, the rest of the world will hardly get the peace it deserves.
