Within the framework of this Deep State Study Group the working hypothesis is that the European Union is an organization that mainly works for the globalist elite agenda. The most obvious example was the way the EU acted like a soft dictatorship during the covid-19 years, with their promotion of the vaccination-app (2) and the blocking of borders and the way they attacked those unwilling to get vaccinated (3). We have seen the covert way Ursula von der Leyen struck a deal with Pfizer and other pharmaceutical companies for 71 billion euro, buying 10 (!) vaccines for every European citizen (4).

We have also seen the very lukewarm response of the EU to the genocide of the Palestinian people by the Israeli army (5). Also very typical of a deep state organization is the desire to control the narrative and crack down on opposing views, labeling them as disinformation. Ursula von der Leyen even started talking about ‘prebunking’ (6). The fact that Europeans are forbidden from even watching the Russian perspective in the Ukraine war is also very telling (7). The extreme position towards immigration is also part of the globalist agenda (8-10).

This post focuses on yet another favorite of the globalist agenda: using an alleged climate change to impoverish the people and gain more power. In the video below from the EU website, you can watch the way the EU Emission Trade System (EUETS) functions. This system that raked in 152 billion (!) euros since 2013 is based on the questionable idea that greenhouse gases emitted through human activity would be the main cause for the heating of our planet (1).

We have shown in a number of articles that the premise that CO2 would drive climate change is highly debatable (11-14). This, however, doesn’t stop the EU from forcing this extreme policy tied to this Emission Trade System onto European corporations. This makes it harder for companies to do business and it makes life from Europeans more expensive as the screws are tightened more and more with every passing year.

This Emission Trading System and all this man-made climate change fear-mongering are signs of this undemocratic elite program that only leads to more suffering and impoverishment for the common people (15).
